- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Sauté the chicken in olive oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Add the chicken broth and BBQ sauce, stirring gently to coat the chicken.
- Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Release the pressure naturally for 5 minutes, then perform a quick release.
- Shred the chicken in the pot and mix with the sauce.
- Serve hot on buns or with your favorite sides.
Notes
For a spicier version, add cayenne or hot sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
