Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Sauté the chicken in olive oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Add the chicken broth and BBQ sauce, stirring gently to coat the chicken.
  4. Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  5. Release the pressure naturally for 5 minutes, then perform a quick release.
  6. Shred the chicken in the pot and mix with the sauce.
  7. Serve hot on buns or with your favorite sides.

Notes

For a spicier version, add cayenne or hot sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
