Deliciously seasoned chicken skewers with a spicy, sweet, and tangy Bang Bang sauce, made effortlessly in an air fryer.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the chicken pieces with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Thread the chicken onto the skewers, leaving space between each piece.
  4. Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook the skewers for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Prepare the Bang Bang sauce in a separate bowl by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, garlic powder, and lime juice.
  7. Remove the skewers from the air fryer and brush with the Bang Bang sauce before serving.

Notes

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes prior to use to prevent burning. Customize the sauce or chicken as desired for different flavor profiles.
