  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by heating oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F.
  2. Season the chicken chunks generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge each piece of chicken in all-purpose flour, then dip them into the beaten egg, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Carefully place the coated chicken into the hot oil, frying for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey, mixing until smooth.
  6. Toss the hot fried chicken in the prepared sauce until well-coated.
  7. Serve hot, arranged on a platter with greens or cucumbers.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with tofu. Use room temperature ingredients for better coating adherence.
