  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the Dijon mustard, olive oil, orange juice, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag tightly, ensuring the chicken is well-coated in the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or for maximum flavor, up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375°F) so it’s nice and hot by the time the chicken is ready.
  4. Remove the chicken from the bag and discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side. The chicken should have nice char marks and be cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices, making it more tender when served.
  7. Serve the chicken garnished with fresh herbs if desired, adding a touch of color and freshness.
