Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together the Dijon mustard, olive oil, orange juice, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag tightly, ensuring the chicken is well-coated in the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or for maximum flavor, up to 4 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375°F) so it’s nice and hot by the time the chicken is ready.
- Remove the chicken from the bag and discard the remaining marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side. The chicken should have nice char marks and be cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices, making it more tender when served.
- Serve the chicken garnished with fresh herbs if desired, adding a touch of color and freshness.
