- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup salsa verde
- 1 cup shredded pepper Jack cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine salsa verde, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat the chicken breasts with the marinade in a baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through at 165°F (75°C).
- Add shredded pepper Jack cheese on top and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until melted.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
For best results, marinate chicken a few hours prior to baking for maximum flavor.
